We had a roundtable on project post-mortems. As is our wont in group discussions, we veered off in other directions, of course, dealing with the care and feeding of clients.
One of the phases of Project Management is the review process, or project audit, where staff members gather after a project to talk about what went right and what went wrong. If you’re a one-person company, though, it’s hard to have a conversation with me, myself and I. A written report usually works better. You can scratch out answers on a legal pad or come up with a fancy form or spreadsheet.
