Kent Howell, president and owner of KOSA Consulting Group, spoke to us about some old and new principles of selling (not marketing, but selling.) Kent has sold insurance, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, and has had national and global accounts. In the summer of 2005 he started his own sales development company to train people on every aspect of sales, from prospecting to closing. Everyone at the luncheon got a booklet he put together with some great material.
